Learn to Erg

Rowing indoors is a low impact cardio, full body workout. Learn to ‘Erg’ classes teach you the proper techniques, mechanics, and lingo of rowing on Concept II rowing machines. Why
are they called ergs? Rowing machines are actually ergometers, which measure the amount of work a person does while rowing (think back to those high school science classes!).

In a short time, you will increase your conditioning, improve your skills and efficiency by using the proper muscle groups, and dip your toes into the rowing community. Classes can be taken purely for fitness or in preparation for Learn to Row and will include functional stretching with each class. For those wishing to continue on to Learn to Row (LTR), your spot will be reserved for you in the next LTR class offered. Space is limited to 11 participants, so sign up now and reserve your ERG!

Participation in the Learn To Erg season is not required for the Learn To Row classes.

Dates are inclusive.

First time users need to create a “Parent of Rower” account and then add a “Youth Rower”.
